You can search MEDIA in three ways
1.
Quick Search :this is a more generic search and will result in a large list of items matching your generic search.
2.
Advanced Search: this is specific search on field within MEDIA and will limit the search results to match your query as much as possible
3.
Advanced Search – MS Excel Sheetby uploading an excel file with your search criteria you can perform a search to multiple items at the same time such as product lists.
Quick Search
The quick search is available in the top right corner of the MEDIA section in PANDORA Library. It is available on almost all pages so at any given time you can quickly perform a search for your content. In the quick search you perform a search like you often do in a search engine (like Google) on the Internet. You can search for field values of a MEDIA item such as media title, SKU number or a key word.
In addition to single words, you can also combine words into this search box. For example you can search on “Red Summer” which gives you all the items that have either “red”, “summer” or both words “red and summer” somewhere mentioned in the MEDIA meta data.
Advanced Search
The advanced search within PANDORA Library is to allow you to execute a very specific search on field within MEDIA and will limit the search results to match your query as much as possible.
To open the Advanced Search window, click on the hyperlink next to the quick search in the top right corner
The advanced search window is visible at the bottom in the left pane of the window:
You can enter specific values in the predefined
fields and can enter values in more than one
field.
The more values you enter in the search, the
more specific your search result will be.
Entering too many values could result in PANDORA Library not being able to find any
results matching your query.
Entering values means that the system will
treat these as the Boolean operator AND, so it
will include everything into your search.
Advanced Search – MS Excel Sheet
You can also perform an advanced search via an MS Excel Sheet. You define the specific search items in the MS Excel file and via an upload match the MEDIA items. Please make sure that the title of the columns match the actual fields in PANDORA Library - Media (for example, to search for a list of images, you need to search on MEDIA Title)

2. Click on the upload excel button, which is located at the top of the advanced search window.
