Product Detail Page

On the product detail page you see all the product information that is available. Depending on the status of the product the information is filled in or not. For each product there is a product image available and the other product information is grouped into logical sections:

  • Top section: generic global information about the product including the single pack shot of the product.

  • Second section: market specific information in the local language. The international English version will always be displayed in this section

  • Third section: additional product information allows the product manager to give more details about the product characteristics such as the colors and size

  • Last section: this section shows the sub products, the prices that apply and the availability per market.

    Product Enhancement

On the product detail page there are some elements available to help you with the enhancement of product information.

Workflow

A workflow has been set in PANDORA Library to support the process of enriching the products with marketing information in the PIM, to translate the product information in the local languages and to enter the prices of the products for the channels. With the workflow in place we follow a process by which the information can be added to the product.

The workflow is defined as followed:

'Save and approve your work

After you are ready with enriching the information you click on “save” to make sure that all your information is saved onto the Product. If you are done with your work you click on “approve” which moves the product to the next workflow status. The workflow status indicator (top right corner) will show your step number in green and the next step(s) in grey.

It is possible to enrich products in parallel, meaning that multiple people can work on entering the product information at the same time. The workflow status indicator will in this case have multiple lights on “green” and “grey”.

In the enrichment status on the left (red number) you will see that the amount of products that you have a task on has changed as well.

If you receive a product for enrichment but the person before you has made a mistake and you want to return the product to one step before you in the workflow, you click on the button “not approved”. The product will then go back one step to the previous person.
